Balance Festival Returns To London To Connect Wellness Brands & Health-Conscious Consumers

LONDON, United Kingdom — Balance Festival is returning to London in 2018, to connect health-conscious consumers and industry influencers with the brands shaping the future of the wellness industry.

Opening on Friday 11th May at The Old Truman Brewery, the three-day festival will kick off with an industry day dedicated to connecting over 200 exhibitors with an expected audience of over 15,000 — 5,000 of which will be trade professionals.

This will be followed by two consumer-focused days, allowing exhibitors to engage with attendees looking to sample the UK’s leading boutique fitness studios, athleisure labels and the latest in healthy food and beverage innovation. According to Balance, exhibitors at last year’s festival reported that 92% felt the event had enabled them to engage meaningfully with new customers.

“The very first edition of Balance Festival saw over 9,000 Londoners join forces to celebrate the city’s vibrant fitness scene and wellness movement – a testimony that London’s wellness revolution is well in full swing,” commented festival Co-Founder Ludovic Rossignol-Isanovic.

“For our second year at The Old Truman Brewery, The Balance team has designed a wealth of new event features focused on helping our visitors step outside their comfort zone and try something new – ultimately we want our visitors to leave the festival inspired and fuelled with new ideas to help them achieve their best self, in their own terms,” he added.

In addition to a range of panels and workshops with insight from some of the industry’s most inspiring and innovative minds, Welltodo will also be present for the second year running. Through our innovative careers clinic and participation in expert talks, we’ll be on-site to connect wellness brands with job seekers, to support the growth of the wellness industry and showcase our careers platform — Welltodo Careers.

Allegra Strategies’ Health & Wellness Summit will also return, to provide senior industry members with razor-sharp market analysis and insights from best-in-class wellness operators, while visitors will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of boutique fitness studios, and a brand-new space dedicated to yoga, meditation and wellbeing.

An opportunity for brands to engage and convert attendees into long-term loyal customers, for exhibitors, Balance Festival’s highly targeted marketing campaign — which has an estimated value in excess of £3m — also aims to boost visibility on a wider scale. Last year’s brand ambassador campaign reached over 8m followers via social media.

“Our mission is to help our sponsors, exhibitors and partners gain extensive exposure through meaningful consumer engagement,” explained Rossignol-Isanovic.

“Through the sharing of credible and evidence-based knowledge, Balance Festival has the power to catalyse incredible growth across food, fitness, wellness and travel, ultimately elevating standards in our industry as a whole.”

Following the London event, Balance Festival will launch internationally in Amsterdam from 7th – 9th September, 2018.

Following a similar format to the London event, the festival will encourage attendees to explore cutting-edge fitness concepts, sample the latest healthy food brands and learn from leading experts, while providing brands with what the team describe as an ‘unparalleled opportunity to reach out to a completely new audience’.

London’s Balance Festival will take place on 11th to 13th May 2018 at The Old Truman Brewery. Tickets will be available to purchase from Wednesday, here.
