Non-Alcoholic Retailer Boisson Closes $12m

Marking the largest seed round for a non-alcoholic brand, Boisson has this month closes a $12m seed round at a valuation of £47m. It is seeking to expand it’s retail footprint across the US as the popularity of non-alcoholic beverages booms.

The round was led by Connect Ventures and Blue Scorpion Investments.

Gym Class Closes $8m Seed Round

Gym Class, an LA based virtual reality basketball app has raised $8m in seed funding – as the role of fitness in the ‘metaverse’ accelerates.

The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz with participation from Y Combination, which will support the apps launch on the Meta Quest Store.

Hydration brand Wet Raises $1.3m 

Functional beverage brand Wet Hydration, with makes zero-calorie and sugar hydration drinks, has raised $1.3 million in funding. It plans to continue its mission of growing a strong customer base who are looking for hydration with functional ingredients, and says the support of its new strategic advisors, will help with this expansion of both reach and product mix.

Another Round Gets Backing From Pure Gym’s Peter Roberts

Peter Roberts, the former CEO and Founder of PureGym has backed Another Round, with a six-figure investment. Another Round is a personal training app which aims to democratise access to bespoke fitness plans. It plans to use the investment to increase the number of coaches and enter the corporate wellness market.

She Matters Raises $1.5m To Support Black Women Postpartum

She Matters, an app focused on supporting Black women experiencing postpartum anxiety and depression, has announced a $1.5m pre-seed investment. The app trains healthcare networks and independent healthcare practitioners to support Black women with a range of services for postpartum care.

The funding is said to be used to help the startup to expand its team and mission.
