Canopie Receives Undisclosed Sum

Canopie, a maternal mental health care app, has raised an undisclosed sum to drive its agenda to prioritise clinically-validated support and customised coaching for new and expectant mothers. The funding was lead by Virginia Venture partners, the equity investment program of Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation (VIPC). The company says it will use the investment to secure early customers in healthcare and validate the product’s readiness for scale.

YuLife Raises $120m

British life insurance disrupter, YuLife, has confirmed a $120 million Series C round. The round was led by Japanese insurer Dai-ichi Life, valuing the company at $800 million. The plan, according to CEO Sammy Rubin, is to use the funding to expand its presence into the United States and South Africa.

$6m Seed For Posterity Health

Distributed Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm, has led a $6 million seed series in Posterity Health. Describing itself as the only digital male fertility specialist, Posterity Health empowers men to learn about fertility and take action, through semen analysis, preservation and other procedures.

Brightline Closes $10m Series C

Brightline, a category leader in virtual behavioural health care for children, adolescents and families, has announced a $10 million investment by Northwell Health. The injection brings its total Series C funding to $115 million, and will be used to create greater access to paediatric mental health services and expand access to high-quality and affordable care.
