Cold Off The Press: This Week’s 4 Juicy Favourites

Canyon Juicery | The Good Green II

What’s Juicin’: Cucumber, Kale, Celery, Spinach, Romaine, Lemon, Apple, Ginger
You’ll Love This: Don’t be scared off by all the veggies in this one – the lemon and apple give it a lovely sweet tang and it’s full of all the good stuff! Cucumber and spinach are both high in potassium and beta-carotene, and help dissolve uric acid. Spinach is also an immune booster and contains iron (if you’re a vegan or vegetarian). Take home message? Green is good (and in this case, delicious!).
Get Some: Canyon Juicery opened last September inside JOSEPH (a beautiful clothing boutique), on Westbourne Grove in Notting Hill. With a succinct menu of organic juices and mylks, they’ve covered all bases. 236 Westbourne Grove, Notting Hill, London W11 2RH. http://blog.joseph-fashion.com/canyon-juicery-at-joseph-westbourne-grove/

The Juice Well | Spicy Gazpacho

What’s Juicin’: Tomato, Red Pepper, Cucumber, Celery, Watermelon, Lemon, Red Chili, Olive Oil, Spices
You’ll Love This: Here’s something a little… ok, very different! Feeling a little under the weather or like you’re drifting through your day in a daze? The Juice Well’s Spicy Gazpacho will boost your immune system and pep you right up! It is loaded with antioxidants which combat free radicals (London is full of these), and will also make your skin glow.

BoBo’s Juicery
| Rhubarb Couture

What’s Juicin’/Blendin’: Alkaline Water, Pink Himalayan Rock Salt, Mint, Berries, Peanut Butter, Rhubarb
You’ll Love This: If you’re getting bored of the same old combinations, then go no further than Bobo’s. We adore their Rhubarb Couture (fab name!) which is every bit as glamorous as it sounds. This rich red juice blend is high in lutein, which is excellent for your eyes. Rhubarb is also found to have anti-cancer properties.
Get Some: Bobo’s Juicery sell direct online via their website. We have also seen them stocked in St Clements, a beautiful new café in Parsons Green (read about it here). www.bobosjuicery.com

Lovage
| Viridian

What’s Juicin’: Kale, Fennel, Squash, Apple, Herbs, Wild Greens
You’ll Love This: We love Lovage because of their farm-to-street ethos and strong belief in the healing power of food. The Viridian juice speaks to the self-healing nature of the body by combining dark leafy greens for magnesium, calcium and iron, with the alkalizing properties of squash for a lovely sweet kick. A truly amazing combo; they had us at fennel.
Get Some: Loveage, part of the quirky Ace Hotel, serves juices, shakes and blends, from a street-level window on Shoreditch High St (read our feature here). 100 Shoreditch High Street, Shoreditch, London E1 6JQ. https://www.acehotel.com/london/lovage
