LONDON, United Kingdom — Hybrid fitness concept BodySPace, is bringing athletic level fitness and nutrition expertise to a mainstream audience.

Housed within the ESPA Life at Corinthia Hotel, it showcases a unique range of bespoke health and lifestyle solutions, available to hotel guests, spa and BodySPace members.

The dynamic partnership between Co-Founders Stephen Price and David Higgins  the founder of Ten Health Pilates and Bootcamp Pilates, aims to “offer the best scientifically and medically underpinned fitness, nutrition, Pilates and transformational lifestyle programmes available today.” Its innovative packages have been designed to improve sleep, boost energy, reduce stress, strengthen mindfulness, enhance exercise performance and increase strength.

“This is a wonderful evolution for ESPA Life and our philosophy of creating next-generation experiences,” explained ESPA Founder Sue Harmsworth.

“BodySPace is bringing a new, highly evolved fitness and nutrition offering which fits flawlessly within the existing ESPA Life offering.”

Offering a range of treatments falling into four main categories; technology and science, fitness methods, nutrition and fitness therapies and treatments, BodySPace positions itself as a smart, evidence-based concept, which focuses on enhancing individual’s optimal performance. By creating bespoke, fully-integrated programmes for clients, the brand’s aim is to decrease stress and enhance the overall quality of life.

A sub-brand of SP&Co, a private members gym which creates medical wellness programmes for high net worth individuals, BodySPace also holds a residency at the Kingwood development — a luxury, private residence located in Knightsbridge.

Price, who brings 15 years of experience to the brand, having developed bespoke concepts for some of the biggest brands and private individuals in the luxury market, as well as running SP&Co, has ambitions to scale the concept throughout a further 10/20 hotels and residential developments over the coming years.

“The next year will be the time for us to prove the concept in residential and impact bottom line, but there are a couple of destinations that we could make a huge impact,” he explains.

In addition to premium ‘lifestyle’ areas, which include access to ESPA’s private sleep pods, the gym offers two training spaces providing cutting-edge heart rate technologies from HeartMath and Firstbeat, as well as Technogym equipment.

All BodySPace partners and collaborators have been carefully selected to represent BodySPace’ unique collaborative approach.

“We’re using it as a platform to showcase great practitioners and specialists,” explains Price.

“By keeping it current, evidence-based and exciting, we’re confident we can provide the next evolution of wellness.”
