LONDON, United Kingdom — Bespoke Health and Fitness brand Lomax has partnered with Cocoon Networks to build a fully integrated corporate health concept.

Incorporating the same results-driven and premium experience found in its flagship Chelsea studio, the brand’s new initiative targets the corporate wellness industry by bringing together health, fitness and corporate success under one umbrella.

Located in the heart of London’s professional community, Cocoon Networks, situated above The London Stock Data Exchange, houses up to 1,000 working professionals. It is hoped, with the addition of LOMAX, the co-working space can provide professionals with a 360-degree environment centred around not only enhancing health and fitness but work performance too.

“Corporate fitness to me is essential,” explains Jonny Lomax, Founder of Lomax. “The choices we make in our downtime compete with fitness, they are more preferable. But with 80% of our time spent working, we need to create options that support our health and training instead of working against it,” he adds.

Lomax has crafted its name in the boutique fitness industry by pioneering in efficiency and structure. Thanks to the creation of its effective podular system, the brand’s studios are able to house a group of miniature gyms under one roof. These can be adapted to provide one-on-one personal training, small group personal training, pay-as-you-go classes, physiotherapy and more.

As with the brand’s original studio, Lomax Cocoon has been built “for efficiency and results, wellbeing and performance services, nutritional therapy, and nutritional products, all in the same place” explains Lomax.

Workplace wellness, although currently a $43bn industry, has still not reached a mainstream audience. The fact that only 9% of the world’s 3.2 billion workers have access to workplace wellness programs at their place of work highlights both the opportunities and challenges present in the space.

However, with 76% of those workers suffering in their physical well-being and 24% feeling increasingly disengaged professionally, it is clear why a concept like Lomax Cocoon has the potential to help revolutionise the corporate wellness industry in a positive way.
