Discover: The Butcher’s Daughter

LOS ANGELES, United States  Serving nutrient concentrated, non-dairy deliciousness, the trendy New York-based vegetarian cafe and juice bar, complete with cult following, has made its way to Los Angeles.

Famed for its laid-back vibe and vegetarian versions of popular dishes, the new 3,200-square-foot outpost takes a 360 approach to wellness by featuring a 50 foot communal dining center and espresso bar, a vegetable butcher and raw bar, alongside a California lifestyle market selling fitness and beauty products.

Designed by founder Heather Tierney, the space, which is modelled on an old-world, masculine butcher shop, juxtaposes industrial elements against softer, earthy materials like brick and greenery and the creative concepts don’t stop there.

The menu, which features kale-spiked cocktails, wood-fire pizzas and cauliflower steak frites, highlights the brand’s commitment to creating dishes that appeal to both a niche and mainstream market. A savvy model that positions wellness as being a much more integrated and fluid part of everyday life.
