Discover: YUNG CLUB

LONDON, United Kingdom – Uniting exercise, entertainment and escapism through immersive, multi-sensory experiences, YUNG CLUB’s yoga classes push the mind/body relationship to its limits.

Launched in 2015 in East London, the avant-garde classes combine basic ashtanga and kundalini yoga, set in a low-light studio against a backdrop of seasonally commissioned, sound-reactive immersive visuals.

Recognising the potential for more expression and unity in yoga classes, co-founders Rebecca Russell-Turner and Alison Bracegirdle say the classes, which have attracted a cult following, were created as a way to offer customers a more democratic and thrilling form of exercise.

The creative concept, which premiered in collaboration with animation artists, the Great Nordic Sword Fights, has since featured themes including underwater, space and cityscapes, providing participants with a completely unique experience fuelled by random sensory excitement.

Reimagining the workout class format, YUNG CLUB’s visionary approach to fitness encourages participants to view exercise as a form of entertainment, a 360 experience where mind and body are equally stimulated.
