Every week Lauren asks her guests 5 quick-fire questions…

    1. What’s one thing you wish you’d known when you started this journey?
“Nothing comes to me initially because every stage has been such a gift in the learning and the growth. And the struggles are what really really made me, so I don’t wish I was able to avoid any of those struggles at all because every one was such a massive learning curve that propelled me to the next level. I’m kind of glad I went into it all a bit unknown and faced it as it came because those struggles are what made me.”

    2. What’s one thing you wish you’d done sooner in your business?
“I think believed in myself more. I really do. I played small for a very very long time… I still believed for a long time that no one was really interested in what I had to say and the difference that what I had to teach and offer could make. I would have believed in myself more I think, and just allowed myself to perhaps expand a bit sooner… More self-belief.”

    3. Why do you do what you do?
      “I love it.”

    4. What’s the best part about your job?
“Community… gathering together a community of women, like-minded women.”

    5. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
“Be careful who you listen to. The meaning behind this is that you’re not going to take money advice from someone who is bankrupt, you’re not going to take relationship advice off someone who is always single, or who was in a bad relationship. And so again I think to be careful who you listen to because people are going to give you advice based on their own opinions, grown fears and limitations and so again, saying to someone I’m going to quit my job and go to India if they are in that stable 9-5, they are going to say ‘oh no no, don’t do that’. How many people probably got told last year, ‘oh, don’t start a business in a global pandemic, no, no, no you don’t want to start a business in a global pandemic’. How many people started that business and smashed it. So be careful who you listen to. I’m only going to take advice off someone who is already doing what it is I want to do’… Take advice off those people who are living their truth in alignment with what they want, going after what they want and really living their purpose.”
