Ep26. Phoebe Greenacre on Freedom, Flexibility and Living Your Wildest Dreams

This week on EXPERTS, we’re joined by Phoebe Greenacre, Founder of The Self Care Space.

In this episode, Phoebe is sharing the unlikely steps she’s taken to build her expertise as a coach, somatic healer, therapist and yoga teacher – and how an unfulfilling career in marketing led to her first of multiple business ventures. What eventuated… is Phoebe’s life work, The Self Care space, a wellness platform that provides practices for nourishing the body and mind.

We talk about practical tips for setting up a membership, how Phoebe doubled her Instagram following in less than a year, created her dream lifestyle, and why success doesn’t need to happen overnight.

Join Phoebe for yoga, mediation, and much more at The Self Care Space.

Every week Lauren asks her guests 5 quick-fire questions…

  1. What’s one thing you wish you’d known when you started this journey?
“I wish I had stopped seeking so much, and just let it unfold, and surrender to the process and the pathway, rather than look for the end goal. Because there’s never an end goal. It will always move and change, and evolve.”
  2. What’s one thing you wish you’d done sooner in your business?
“I wish I had started the membership ages ago. I remember traveling with my travel blog and going to yoga classes and I would be like one day, I’m going to wake up every morning, and I’m going to film a yoga class in the destination that I’m in. And now it’s happening.”
  3. Why do you do what you do?
“I do what I do to help people find coming alive, coming back to their body, stop looking outside, coming back inside and finding what lights them up inside rather than looking for validation outside.”
  4. What’s the best part about your job?
“I feel like there are so many women that are lost and don’t have direction or confidence with who they are. And so when you guide them back to their body, back to their inner knowing, back to their child, their innocence, and just show them that it was there all along… It just lights me up so much to help so many different women that may have not had that wellness background or path to healing.”
  5. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
“There have been so many beautiful pieces of information but I think rather than focusing on being rich and wealthy and finding how am I going to make that happen. Come back to your body. Find what lights you up inside. The answers are within you, they’re not outside of you. So stop asking people around you for the answers. They’re inside of you. You have everything you need for your journey, for this life that you’re living. And it was given to you the day you were born.”
