Fare Healthy Is Back (And Bigger Than Ever) At Borough Market

After its sell out success in January, Fare Healthy – the day long wellbeing festival dedicated to healthy living – is returning in September. With confirmation that London’s iconic Borough Market will play host, it’s ‘fare’ to say that round two will be bigger and better than before.

“Shelley and I are so excited to announce that we’ve finally completed the deal with Borough Market to hold the second Fare Healthy festival there on Sunday 27th September,” says Rose Lloyd Owen, Founder of boutique catering company Peardrop London and one half of the Fare Healthy creation.

“We really couldn’t dream of a more perfect venue for the event. It’s such an iconic London spot,” she adds.

Once again the festival will celebrate a collective approach to training body, mind and soul – presented by the UK’s leading experts in exercise, meditation and healthy healing. The official line-up reveals that foodie favourites Hemsley+Hemsley, Deliciously Ella, Amelia Freer, and the king of women’s fitness Russell Bateman, will all be back in September.

Lectures and demonstrations are expected from the likes of Amelia Freer (esteemed Nutritionist to Sam Smith), and pop-up editions of London’s favourite healthy eateries including Nama, Ceviche and The Good Life Eatery. The focus will be on eschewing any notion that healthy food and fitness is a pursuit of vanity, and instead favouring a fully inclusive, collective approach to wellbeing (amen to that)!

As part of this, the festival will play host to a range of fitness classes, running throughout the day, including SBC and Frame’s signature dance classes (that had the ladies dancing like Queen Bey in January). As additional brands come on board, announcements will be made via the Fare Healthy social media channels.

“Some of Borough’s stalls will be open but we’ll be mostly taking over the whole place with talks and shopping, with a little building on the side for exercise classes,” says Shelley Martin-Light, Entrepreneur and Co-Founder.

With capacity for 1,500 health loving Londoners (double that of January’s debut), there’ll be plenty of room to move… and we’ll be hoping and praying for the perfect Summer’s day.
