POSITION: Leon Well-Being Ambassador

JOB FUNCTION: Well-being-Teacher training programme

REPORTING TO: Well-being Events Manager

SALARY: Paid Internship + teacher training qualification (value of £25, 000) and Free Leon Food Card

Leon is looking for five passionate people to join their Wing Tsun and Well-being-Teacher training programme. You will play a vital role in bringing Leon’s well-being culture and principles to life, assisting with the running of well-being programmes, activities, and events.

The well-being ambassador role, whilst unpaid, is an incredible opportunity to take the next step your well-being career, with on the job learning, individual mentoring and well-being qualifications.

The role:
Assisting at wellness events and internal workshops
Teaching Wing Tsun classes nationally and potentially worldwide once qualified
Working with Leon to produce Fitness & Wellness content for internal and external events and social media marketing

You will be trained in Wing Tsun, AIS Stretching, Chi-Gung and Wellbeing
Individual guidance and mentoring from the Director of Well-Being

Time commitment:
Must be available every Tuesday and Thursday evening, and 2 Sunday’s per month for a year
Four individual weeks of intense training in the next calendar year (dates to be mutually agreed)
Must be available to commit to 1x flexi day per week in LEON


The person:
Passionate about the well-being industry, good food and fitness
Has an outgoing personality, with great interpersonal skills
Committed to self-development and the development of others
Friendly, helpful, pro-active team player who is committed
Physically active
Based in London or surrounding areas
Social media savvy
No prior knowledge of martial arts required

Wing Tsun Kung Fu is a dynamic ancient art form from China, dating back 1,500 years. The only martial art ever created by women. It has a unique positive focus, teaching you powerful and profound tools for physical, mental and spiritual development. It helps you become calmer, more focused and more in-tune with your body whilst enabling you to be physically prepared for any situation.

A.I.S. – Stretching and Strengthening
Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) is a special method which allows you to stretch and strengthen every muscle in your body and achieve a full range of motion – essential for injury prevention, injury rehabilitation and achieving peak physical performance. AIS also improves your posture and circulation.

Chi Gung
Chi Gung is a powerful exercise for the health, which has been practised for many centuries by the Chinese. It focuses on relaxation and deep breathing, which help the movement of your energy (known as Chi) throughout your body. You will learn two different types of Chi-Kung.
