When Is It?

Taking place in London on Tuesday 27th March, this thought-provoking event for innovative brands, startups, entrepreneurs and investors in the wellness industry, will be presented in partnership with international law firm Bird & Bird LLP, business software management provider MINDBODY, and boutique investment house Financo.

Who Are The Panelists?

With invaluable insights into how to succeed in one of the world’s fastest-growing industries, the panelists will discuss the driving forces shaping the market, how brands can foster innovation and overcome challenges to spark growth, and what opportunities lie within the $3.72 trillion industry.

We’ll be joined by Kevin Teague, Senior Vice President, Managing Director at MINDBODY.

Taking a front seat as the global wellness, fitness and integrative health industries evolved, Teague one of the founding leaders of MINDBODY’s product teams, has been part of the technology that has helped change it.

Beginning his career with MINDBODY in 2007, Teague launched the company’s QA department, developed the product roadmap alongside the Chief Product Officer and eventually ran the entire software engineering team.

However, in 2016 he shifted gears to work with more closely with the brand’s customers, serving as the VP of Customer Service Operations for a year. Now living in the UK, Teague is the sole executive for MINDBODY’s UK customer service, sales and marketing teams in three UK offices (London, Wyboston, Sheffield).

Joining Teague, our second panelist Adam Thompson, Managing Director at Rebel Kitchen, joined the plant-based nutrition company in 2015. Largely responsible for the exponential growth the business has experienced, he has grown the company from a team of five to over 20 members of staff and added £4m in sales.

In addition, his strategic direction has seen the business adopt a progressive work culture and transition to become 100% organic, without increasing prices to the end consumer. Accelerated by his decision to acquire the Unoco brand in 2016, Rebel Kitchen now has four thriving product ranges, including a range of yogurts created from a by-product of the water production, establishing a zero-waste loop in support of the brand’s sustainability goals.

Thompson’s ambition is to establish Rebel Kitchen as a thought leader in health and wellbeing by bringing together his experience from across multiple sectors.

Completing our expert lineup, Aimie Chapple, Managing Director – Client Innovation UKI & Health UK at Accenture, has worked at the crossroads of health and innovation for the past 7 years. In her role at the global management consulting firm, she has worked closely with CXO clients, led consulting practices and businesses and directed a number of the large strategic change and infrastructure transformation programmes undertaken over the past decade.  

As head of Health for 4.5 years, whilst also being the UKI x-industry chief innovation officer — a role she began whilst previously leading Management Consulting in the UK and Ireland — Chapple is currently embarking on her own wellness journey as she begins a diploma in Naturopathic Nutrition.
