Juice And Healthy Snacks By The Batch In Old Street Station

It’s peak hour and Old Street Station is a hive of commuter activity. Batch, the station’s newest popup, is stripping nutrition back to the basics with simple, nutritious and 100% organic snacks… to redefine fast food.

Sophie Miranda, the 23 year old behind Batch, set out to inspire people to take a more considered approach to nutrition. The philosophy behind Batch is one of transparent living; creating delicious healthy snacks for people on the go.

And with more than 36,000 commuters passing in and out of Old Street Station each day, Batch is well-positioned to preach the cold-pressed juice gospel. The menu is clean and prepared with a consciousness towards the science of healthy living.

Batch has partnered with cold-pressed juice brand, Juiceman, as their exclusive retail arm. As well as being 100% organic and unpasteurised, a 500ml serve from Juiceman contains enzymes and nutrients from up to 2.4kg of fresh fruit and vegetables. Not a bad way to start the day!

“The response has been so positive and has really inspired me to continue offering an increasingly diverse menu that fulfils the needs of the customers I am fortunate enough to engage with daily,” says Miranda.

“People cherish high-quality produce and I am constantly striving to evolve with their needs.”
