LONDON, United Kingdom — Pioneering food delivery service The Pure Package is hosting its second Wellness Awards in London, to celebrate the UK’s wellness industry.
Taking place at BAFTA on 1st February, the awards ceremony will recognise innovation and influence across ten categories, including Best UK Wellness Eatery, Best UK Boutique Studio, Best Day Spa and Best Health Journalist.
A group of leading figures from the health and wellness world will form an expert judging panel to review all nominations, before making a final decision. Experts include Yoga Teacher Julie Montagu, Personal Trainer Matt Roberts, Women’s Health Digital Editor Amy Hopkinson, Men’s Health Deputy Editor Dave Morton and Welltodo Founder Lauren Armes.
The awards will give overdue recognition, credit and appreciation to those who have been instrumental in the development and advancement of wellness in the UK, from pioneers to rising stars.
Jennifer Irvine, who set up The Pure Package so that busy people could get on with their lives secure in the knowledge that their nutritional needs are well taken care of, explained how the awards will acknowledge excellence of services and standards in the fast-growing wellness sector.
“The wellness industry is booming, making an enormous contribution, not only to peoples’ lives but also to the economy,” she told Welltodo.
“I want to shine a light on fellow entrepreneurs and pioneers who are also contributing to an industry I have been so passionate about promoting over the years.”
Last year the event attracted more than 200 attendees, with awards given to Ian Marber, for Best Journalist, Core Collective for Best New Boutique Studio and Madeleine Shaw for Best Wellness Blog.
Nominations for next year’s event can be made until 10th December, with winners set to be announced on 1st February. To nominate a person, business or organisation for its services in the health and wellness sphere follow the link provided: www.purepackageawards.com/
