More Than Just Organic, Seasonal Food On The Table In Parsons Green

A new addition to the blossoming café scene in South West London, St Clements is serving up more than just seasonal, locally sourced and organic produce. Owner, Olivia Grant, is also dishing up the facts on exactly where her ingredients come from for a full farm-to-table experience.

Perched on Kings Rd in Parsons Green (across from the infamous Bailey & Sage), with its raw timber floorboards and pastel-coloured cushions, St Clements has a warm, homely feel. With the added touch of a bench-top display of baked goods, farm-fresh eggs and bounty of fruit, it almost feels like Grandma’s kitchen.

Olivia has developed strong ties with her suppliers, which means that everything on your plate has been sourced with the utmost attention to quality and freshness. You know that your Sunday morning eggs came from a small farm in Oxfordshire and the cheese from Neals Yard Dairy. Embracing the transparency of supply (they’ve even printed it on the windows) gives this café an authentic edge.

The carefully devised menu covers breakfast, brunch and lunch, and is complemented by exceptional, hand-roasted coffee. Naturally, we were delighted to see that St Clements is serving up BoBo’s Juicery’s cold-pressed, organic juices. With their own ‘pitchfork to bottle’ philosophy, BoBo’s is the perfect addition. And with snappy names like ‘Mind-Blowing,’ ‘Give Me Strength,’ and ‘A Bit of Ruff(age) – there are just a few more reasons to drop into St Clements.
