SINGAPORE, Asia — Bangkok-based fitness studio Absolute You, is opening its doors to a new outpost in Singapore.
Located at Peranakan Place on Orchard Road, the studio will host yoga, group and private reformer Pilates classes, and ‘Rhythm Cycling’ – spinning classes designed to create a truly immersive and empowering experience for riders
Thailand’s largest yoga and Pilates centre, Absolute You has grown from a small yoga practice — launched in 2002 — to a 360° wellness concept.
Today, the business operates 4 main arms: its Absolute fitness studios, Absolute Fit Food; a gourmet healthy food business, Absolute Sanctuary; an award-winning wellness resort on Koh Samui, in Thailand, Absolute Anytime; a digital platform hosting yoga classes and Absolute U Management Asia; a wellness hospitality Management initiative.
Currently operating 16 fitness studios across Thailand, with the launch of Singapore’s first Absolute You studio, the brand hopes to cement its position as one of Asia’s leaders in the wellness space.
Its flagship studio will span 3,800 sq ft, and joins the brand’s Absolute Cycle studio which opened last month at OUE Downtown Gallery, Singapore.
Commenting on the arrival of Absolute Cycle, Benjaporn Karoonkornsakul, Founder and CEO of Absolute You explains: “Rhythm Cycling is so much more than cycling. It’s about connecting with other people; it’s about finding yourself and improving yourself not just in the room but in life.”
Focused on building a community, the brand says it has created an environment where everyone is welcome — where guests can ‘de-stress, reconnect, and aspire to be better’.
A team of experienced trainers, including US spinning instructor Ciara Williams and celebrity fitness trainer Fay Hokulani will run classes with a group of up and coming high-calibre instructors trained by the Absolute Cycle Academy — an in-house training academy.
“Absolute Cycle brings us one step closer to completing my vision of what I wanted the company to be,” comments Karoonkornsakul, on the brand’s website.
“To complement our world-class Yoga, Pilates and Core Blast classes I wanted a more intense cardio workout for our members but I wanted something unique, something no other company was offering in Thailand,” he adds.
By extending that vision to Singapore, she plans to continue growing Absolute You into the next decade.
