Stella McCartney was one of the original celebrity turn fitness fashion designers to appropriate gym kit with enough panache, that it might become socially acceptable to wear it outside the gym itself.
Now, partnering up with adidas once again, Stella is taking on a younger market segment with her brand new stellasport range; a fun, fresh and vibrant collection aimed at a more active, youthful crowd… and (you can stop holding your breath) priced accordingly.
Under the all-knowing creative direction of Stella herself, adidas are launching a collection which they say “can be worn from the gym to the city streets.” If anyone has the resume to back such edgy, explosive and vibrant prints, Stella does… and it’s exactly what London’s fitness scene is aching for; a more adventurous spirit.
“The adidas stellasport girl is young, current and vibrant, looking to make a statement and stand out – we wanted to bring that to life within the collection and fuse performance with style to create – performance pop,” says Stella, describing her newest collection.
The range will include essential and statement apparel including sweats, leggings and capris, plus footwear, and accessories – all made, as the tagline boasts, ‘with you in mind’.
adidas stellasport is exclusively available from 15th January 2015 onwards.
