Series 5. Episode 6:
Let’s talk about the business of wellness…

My guest today is Brendan Brazier, Co-Founder of Vega and Pulp Culture. He’s also a former professional Ironman triathlete and a two-time Canadian 50km Ultra Marathon Champion. Brendan is regarded as one of the world’s leading authorities on plant-based performance nutrition, and now invests in and works with socially responsible food and tech companies whose mandate is to fix our food system.

In this episode, Brendan shares his passion for functional ingredients and why this drives product innovation. We also hear how he switches off from work (usually a run or bike ride) which allows him the space to think creatively and develop those incredible new ideas. We discuss finding the right people to support your vision and how a Founder shouldn’t just assume the role of a CEO, it should actually be about finding the right person, with the right skills to do the job.
