However, fret not welltodo Jetsetter, you will be pleasantly surprised by the plethora of nutritious, plant-based delights in this beautiful city.

From Toronto Canada, welltodo London’s Lauren Dean dishes up five must-visit healthy hotspots:

For the raw foodies, Toronto’s finest raw food boutique is truly beautiful (and not just aesthetically). With its focus being detoxifying, revitalising and supporting a healthy lifestyle, Carol Belmonte’s dream of helping her community use food as an agent of life change becomes reality.

Belmonte Raw offers signature cold-pressed juices and delicious raw food. If you’re looking to pick up some cooking tips or learn the benefits of a raw diet, why not participate in one of Belmonte’s raw food classes for an evening?

Octopus’ Garden Holistic Yoga | Yoga Centre And Cafe

Toronto loves its yoga, with many of its teachers considered world class. If you’re lucky enough to visit in the summer, you can even find yoga classes down by the stunning Lake Ontario.

Octopus’ Garden bases itself around community, with an abundance of classes for beginners plus private yoga sessions and bright spacious studios promoting health and balance. One of our favourite things about the College Street studio is the inclusion of Urban Herbivore, a popular all vegan eatery with your favourite powerhouse foods to snack on between classes.

The Hogtown Vegan | Vegan Comfort Food

If you’re like us and have just stepped into the plummeting temperatures of late fall, you’re going to be looking for something that resembles your grandmother’s homemade winter stew. With its chilled out vibe, The Hogtown Vegan prides itself on a full vegan menu, while still giving diners the experience of classic Canadian comfort food. On weekends, brunch in Toronto is a must-do. Next time you’re in town, we recommend indulging in either the tofu and mixed mushroom omelette, tofu rancheros or for those with a sweet tooth, a slice of warm banana french toast; delish!
