Xplor Mariana Tek’s Booking Platform Debuts in the UK

Xplor Mariana Tek is growing its global footprint.

What’s happening: The boutique fitness booking and management system entered the UK, adding Barry’s, BLOK and 1Rebel to its platform.

Building on its presence in the US and Canada, it sees the UK as a gateway to wider European growth, with its tech giving studios a competitive edge in an increasingly crowded market.

Full service. Optimising the studio experience, Xplor Mariana Tek’s customisable app lets members book classes, check-in, purchase items and select their favourite in-class spots.

Backed by PE firm Advent International, Xplor has created a one-stop shop for fitness operators, uniting booking software of Mariana Tek, admin solutions zingfit and Triib, and PT app TrueCoach.

Solidifying itself as a community cultivation tool, in 2023, its overall visit and guest booking volumes rose by 36% and 35%, respectively.

Boosting Connectivity

Meeting consumer appetite for connection, software companies are upgrading features.

• Earlier this year, Aussie platform Hapana launched a “challenge” app feature enabling studios to set up group challenges complete with tracking metrics and progress reports.
• Following its Trainerize and Glofox acquisitions, studios using ABC Fitness can create in-app groups, challenges and communities to complement training programs.
• Through integration with engagement platform FitGrid, Mindbody and Xplor Mariana Tek users can access a fitness social network app and AI-driven outreach tools.
