HYROX Taps F45 as Official Training Partner

Functional training is getting competitive.

The news: HYROX named F45 Training an official partner, delivering specialised workouts through the brand’s studio network.

Going big, the partnership will roll out across all F45 markets, except Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, where Body Fit Training (BFT) holds HYROX rights.

On your mark. HYROX fitness races have become mass participation events – with more than 175K people competing in 60 races this year.

Expanding its reach, the company counts 2.5K affiliate gyms, a PUMA merchandise deal, Centr equipment partnership, and newly announced digital training platform.

For its part, F45 is retooling after its hypergrowth strategy went awry. Building back, the studio franchisor sees fitness racing as a growth driver, joining its Pilates brands VAURA and FS8.

Punchline: Already delivering functional workouts, F45 is a logical HYROX partner. But, as fitness racing catches on, it won’t be the only studio programming hybrid strength-meets-conditioning workouts.
